Do you love to carry a big tote bag, but hate not being able to find your keys and phone? This Bag Organiser is designed for you! It also works as a useful desk caddy. This pattern is supported by a full tutorial video.
This organiser has two compartments separated by a zipped divider pocket, which is fully stitched in
Each side has a slip pocket with a bound top edge for stability
The handles are made using wooden dowels, and fold over to cover the top of the organiser
There is a simple key fob attached to one of the slip pockets
The organiser has rounded corners, and the pattern is marked to make it easy to get a perfect finish
This pattern contains all of the full pattern pieces you need. No measuring required
The video shows my method for putting in zips without using pins or double-sided tape
The video shows you how to close a turning gap by hand stitching using ladder stitch
Pattern has cutting chart to keep track of your pieces. Print it out for every new project!

You will need (width x height):
Quilting weight cotton:
Fabric A - 1 fat quarter
Fabric B - 1 fat quarter
Fabric C - 1 fat quarter (can use lining instead)
Lining: 1 fat quarter, (or ½ yard of lining and no fabric C)
Fusible interfacing: 1 yard medium/firm weight fusible interfacing
Fusible fleece: 21” x 14” (or 24” x 15 ½” of sew-in foam stabiliser)
#3 zip: cut 1 @ 8 ¾”
1 cm/⅜” dowel: cut 2 @ 8 ¼”
Sundries: 1 x ½” lobster clasp, zipper foot, fabric glue, point turner, fabric marker, pinking shears, hump jumper
Optional extras: ¼” machine foot, double-sided tape, washi tape
