The Divide and Organise Basket - £5+VAT
PDF Pattern
£5.00 plus local taxes or VAT
The Divide and Organise Basket is a really useful organiser with dividers stitched into the sides. for you to use to keep your items separated. I originally designed this to store my Christmas tree baubles, so that they would be protected from damage, but the little sections fit so much more!
This pattern has no pattern pieces. Instead it has dimensions in inches for you to cut out yourself using your favourite patchwork rulers.
Each section is 3” square, making it ideal for fruity tea bags, socks, or Christmas baubles
The dividers are created by stitching together rectangles of different lengths, which means you can use different fabrics to create a pretty chequerboard effect inside
The outer uses fusible fleece to give it structure, but you could use foam stabiliser instead (follow my foam stabiliser tutorial for help with preparing your foam)
The top of the basket is finished with binding, and I show you how to finish the binding with a simple decorative hand stitching
Finished size: approx. 9 ½” x 6 ½” x 3”
The PDF comes as one file. It contains a simple, six-step tutorial with fourteen photos, enhanced with graphics to make it clearer to understand. All sizes are in inches.
